ST.PAUL'S HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL
St. Paul’s Higher Secondary School, as we know today, was first christened as St. Paul’s Primary School in 1950, and was founded by Bro. Godfrey Davis who became the founder Headmaster of the School. In 1954 it was upgraded as a High School and in 1996, it was further upgraded to a Higher Secondary level with Science, Commerce and Vocational Stream and has become one of the most important Higher Secondary School in the state.
Admissions are possible only in Class IX and in Class XI, based on merit. The School authority reserves the right of admission.
CLASS IX : Admission to class IX are taken based on the result of an entrance test conducted immediately after the class VIII examination in Mizoram. The admission to class IX is notified in the school website and in local news papers. There are about 300 seats available in class IX.
CLASS XI : Admission to class XI is taken after the results of class X Board Examination results results are declared.
CLASS XI COMMERCE : Students who have secured 60 % and above in the Board Examination need to apply.
CLASS XI SCIENCE : Students who have secured 70 % and above in the Board examination need to apply.
ADMISSIONS ARE PURELY ON THE BASIS OF MERIT. ANY RECOMMENDATION WILL LEAD TO CANCELLATION OF ADMISSION EVEN IF THE STUDENT HAS THE REQUIRED MARKS
