HISTORICAL MILESTONES

Six decades on, St. Paul’s has become a leading educational institution in Mizoram, creating a benchmark of its own. The evolution of St. Paul’s as an epitome of excellence has been remarkable, as evident in its key historical milestones:

1954 – 1st batch of High School students admitted to School on 5th February.
1958 – 1st batch of appeared for H.S.L.C. Exam under Assam Board of Secondary Education.
1975 – Administration of the school by Montfort Brothers.
1978 – 1st batch of H.S.L.C. students appeared for Exam under MBSE.
1987 – Inauguration of School Building by the then Chief Minister Mr. Laldenga.
1996 – Starting of Higher Secondary Sections.
1996 – Foundation stone laid for Higher Secondary Block by Rt. Rev. Denzil D’Souza DD, Bishop of Silchar.
1998 – Inauguration of Higher Secondary Block.
1998 – 1st batch of H.S.S.L.C. Science Stream students appeared for Board Examination.
2000 – Silver Jubilee of the arrival of Montfort Brothers to North East India.
2000 – Formation of Paulian Alumni Association.
2000 – 1stbatch of Commerce Stream students appear for Board Examination.
2004 – Won the National Computer Literacy Award.
2004 – Golden Jubilee Celebrations.
2014 – Diamond Jubilee Celebrations.
